Working 2020

Working 2020

Whitefire Theatre
13500 Ventura Blvd. Sherman Oaks

Created by Academy Award-winning writer Bobby Moresco (Crash), Working 2020 explores what work means to different people in different circumstances in the US during the 1970s, whether they're poor, rich, white, brown, black, the maid, the valet or the executive. It's a deep dive that aims to satisfy an answer to what connects us all in a rapidly changing world. Moresco brings us into the present day of working life in America, adding new characters, and this time focusing on the sadly relevant slide from middle to working class. This incredible story takes you on a journey to discover what it means to be part of the American working class, and has captivated audiences and critics throughout previous successful runs both in Los Angeles and NYC. Starring a dynamic cast of stellar actors, including such heavy hitters as Michael Pare, Elizabeth Grullon, Tonya Cornelisse, Anne DeSalvo and many others, each performance at the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks will also feature celebrity guest performers.
