The Second Best School Shooting is the story of Parker and Ava, two high school friends on the precipice of bright, post-graduation futures, who deal with the aftermath of a traumatic event at their school in polar opposite ways. The play explores how young people cope with the confusion, anxiety, and grief of what it means to be a student in America through dark humor, the search for connection, and, of course, TikTok.
