The Last Breakfast Club

Rockwell Table and Stage
1714 N. Vermont Los Angeles

Those five lovable misfits from different cliques thought getting weekend detention in their high school library was as bad as their Saturday was going to get. Turns out it's the end of the world as they know it, and now five of the most beloved film characters from the '80s have barricaded themselves inside the library -- and are quite possibly the last brain, athlete, basket case, princess and criminal on Earth! But don't fret: Their teenage angst, in-depth exploration of youth culture and questionable fashion choices continue on inside the halls of New Trier High School. This brand-new musical parody from Rockwell: Table & Stage (the mad geniuses who brought you the unauthorized musical parodies of Home Alone, Mean Girls and Troop Beverly Hills) takes the John Hughes teen classic and gives it the Ally Sheedy-style makeover it never knew it needed!

Stage Scene LA - Highly Recommended

"...Imagine John Hughes' archetypal Brain, Athlete, Basket Case, Princess, and Criminal performing twenty or so '80s hits to a live band inside the Shermer High School library as the only kids left in "an apocalypse of nuclear zombies" and you've got The Last Breakfast Club, the latest from Rockwell Table And Stage and the ab-fab first in a series of The Fuse Project musical movie spoofs."
