The Laramie Project takes place in the year 2000, two years after the murder of Matthew Shepard, the gay 21-year-old student of the University of Wyoming. In this story, you will meet several of the Laramie residents and witness the various reactions to this tragedy. You will also meet members of the Tectonic Theater Project, who helped write and originally stage this play, alongside playwright Moises Kaufman. This show can be experienced at Oxnard's Elite Theatre.
