The Diary of Anne Frank

The Diary of Anne Frank

Repertory East Playhouse
24266 Main Street Santa Clarita

One of the most poignant stories of the Holocaust, The Diary of Anne Frank, debuts at the Repertory East Playhouse on March 11. The production, sponsored by The Rubay Family, tells of Anne's spirit, optimism and nobility as recounted in her famous diary kept during World War II. In this gripping new adaptation by Wendy Kesselman, newly discovered writings from the diary of Anne Frank, as well as survivor accounts, are interwoven to create a contemporary impassioned story of the lives of people persecuted under Nazi rule. Anne Frank emerges from history a living, lyrical, intensely gifted young girl, who confronts her rapidly changing life and the increasing horror of her time with astonishing honesty, wit, and determination.
