True stories of the people will be onstage at the fifth South Bay Stories Show. Eight storytellers present their personal stories. Four are inspiring and humorous, discussing service to others. A woman tells how she got into auto racing photo journalism. Another tells of getting rid of a bothersome relative. Finally, you'll hear how The Odd Couple assuaged grief. Musical storyteller Alex Hahn's saxophone tells his story and then he'll relate in words his life and love of music. New this year, one of the eight performs a standup comedy routine at the 2nd Story Theater in Hermosa Beach.
