SMOKE AND MIRRORS returns to Santa Monica with more magic and new characters, following a seven-week SRO run in 2011 and an invitation by Robert Egan to the acclaimed Ojai Playwrights Conference. The play is the re-imagined autobiography of writer and star Albie Selznick, an award winning (Ovation, LA Weekly) actor, master magician and co-creator of the circus-theatre sensation, The Mums. Moving, funny and spooky, SMOKE AND MIRRORS is the story of a boy who uses magic to face the world after the death of his father. The production is directed by Paul Millet, a creative force behind the acclaimed Wicked Lit theatre festival. The cast includes Bettina Zacar, Yanna Fabian, Cody Bushee, Leeann St. John, Beck Black and Rob Martinez.
