Hailed as "one of the best American dancer-choreographers now working" by the Chicago Tribune, Daniel Ezralow has left his stamp all over the world from Las Vegas (he choreographed Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil) to Broadway (he designed the jaw-dropping aerial tangos of Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark) to Paris (he worked with the world-famous Paris Opera Ballet) to the Sochi Olympics (he choreographed nearly 800 dancers for the opening ceremonies). Now he brings a new piece, Primo Passo, to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. Italian for "first step," Primo Passo is a deeply personal work inspired by watching children learn to walk.
