There is a common thread that links us all. Contact. Acceptance. Seeing, and maybe more importantly, being seen. Based on La Ronde by Arthur Schnitzler, The Blue Room offers a rotation of people spinning on this thread ... each person, in his or her own way, expressing an honesty that gives birth to intimacy. The audience plays voyeur, witnessing just how fragile and elusive that thread can be. The Blue Room is for mature audiences only. It contains adult themes, language, and nudity.

"...A Blue Room production earlier this year suffered from not having actors quite versatile enough to bring to life five different characters each. The Moth production's ten actors do indeed create ten distinctive characters, and in a few cases quite well indeed. If only director Markland had respected his source material in tone, intent, and execution."

"...This play's' latest production, at The Moth, a grimy little theatre in Hollywood, contains all of Hare's examinations of the societal hypocrisies surrounding sexuality. And it does, indeed, contain nudity, some full frontal, some in silhouette, along with foul language and young actors. And the result' It doesn't work, at least for this critic."
