15th Smash Year- Bob's Holiday Office Party returns Dec. 3

LA's most "hilariously deranged" (Los Angeles Times) holiday tradition is BOB'S HOLIDAY OFFICE PARTY and it's back to add a little salt to the season and returning back to its original home at The Hudson Mainstage Theatre in Hollywood, December 3 through December 19, 2010.

Every year, insurance agent Bob Finhead's whacked out friends and clients stop by his small-town Iowa office for their annual holiday bash. The town mayor, the sheriff, the twin farmer sisters, the stoner, the town floozy and the pastor's wife have already RSVPed for this year's event. But Bob has dreams of a bigger life and wants to escape their narrow-minded thinking. Will he be able to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional inventor and move to the big city, or will he come to realize how much he is the heart and soul of the town? Will any of this matter once the party stars, the bickering and fighting begins, and the drinks hit the floor?

BOB'S HOLIDAY OFFICE PARTY originated as an improv sketch thirteen years ago and has since developed into a seasonal tradition with a loyal cult following. Each year audience members (dubbed Bobophiles' by the Los Angeles Times) follow the show to its new location.

Co-writer Rob Elk gets 'where's it going to be?' emails starting around the third week of August. He and fellow co-writer Joe Keyes will be tweaking the script so there will be a few surprises for the people who keep coming back.
