A Complicated Hope at Westchester Playhouse

Kentwood Players presents "A COMPLICATED HOPE", an original play written by John Mabey, on March 27 at 7:00pm at the Westchester Playhouse located at 8301 Hindry Ave in Westchester, CA. Ryan Holihan directs this non-equity, unpaid production. It is produced by Kentwood Players by Susan Goldman Weisbarth, Marty Feldman and features Mari King, Nadia Sine, Shawn Plunkett, and Arnie.

Marie and daughter Rose Marie are left adrift after their husband/father, Michael, passes away, leaving behind boyfriend Arnie to discover a family of his own. Mirroring the erratic path of grief, "A COMPLICATED HOPE" flashes between the moments in time that changed them all. Their journeys explore the challenges of both finding a family of choice and letting yourself be found.

The public is welcome to attend the staged reading. Admission is by pay-what you can. All ages 12 years and older must present proof of vaccinations and a photo ID to gain admission. While masks are not mandatory, they are highly recommended. Kentwood Players follows the Covid safety guidelines established by the county and city of Los Angeles.
