Crown City Theatre Company presents A Chicago Chirstmas Carol . In this retelling of the Christmas classic we find Scrooge in the cold mean streets of an early 20th century Chicago.

"A Chicago Christmas Carol" is the merging of two classic novels, Upton Sinclair's "The Jungle", and Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol". Set in the harsh reality of 1908 Chicago on a particularly cold and windy Christmas Eve, streetwalkers, the homeless and even Scrooge are in for a rough night. In this production Gary Lamb helms the piece as Ebenezer Scrooge, a despicable owner of a loan establishment that preys on the workers of his own Slaughterhouse.
