It's Just Sex to Play Secret Rose Theater

After over 2 Years of sold out performances in Los Angeles, and 11 months Off-Broadway in New York City, It's Just Sex, the original, acclaimed, award-winning comedy about partner-swapping couples, makes its return to LA. Written by Jeff Gould and directed by Rick Shaw, It's Just Sex will open on Friday, August 22nd and run through Sunday, October 26th at The Secret Rose Theater, 11246 Magnolia Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601.

A 'Hilarious and Thought-Provoking" (Fox 11-TV) look at monogamy, infidelity, lust, trust and the boundaries of relationships. With the kids away at camp, three couples get together for an innocent cocktail party. But as the liquor flows, games are played, secrets are revealed, trust is tested, boundaries are broken and reality gets 'swapped' for fantasy. Featured in the cast are John Colella (Vampire Mob, Elektra Luxx, The West Wing), Reamy Hall (Bowfinger, Philly),Andy Hirsch (The Fanelli Boys, Liz & Dick, G-Spot), Stephanie Fredricks (All My Children, Broadway: Violet), Betsy Russell (Saw, Private School), Vincent Spano (Rumble Fish, Law & Order, Alive) and Claudia Graf. RICK SHAW (Director) His career includes performing, writing, producing and directing comedy for TV, movies, radio, stage, and nightclubs, including Producer on the hit CBS comedy "The Nanny." He has won and/or been nominated for 2 Cable Ace Awards, an NAACP Image Award and an Emmy. Rick currently owns and is the Producing Director of the Secret Rose Theater and the NoHo Playhouse in the heart of the NoHo Arts District.

JEFF GOULD (Playwright) His critically acclaimed first play, Troubled Waters won the 2002 Artistic Achievement Award for Best Original Production and was hailed by the Los Angeles Times as "hilarious and inspired". His latest comedy, Is There Sex After Marriage is currently running to sold-out houses in Los Angeles.
