Off The Beaten Track presents D.B. Gilles "The girl who loved the Beatles," From Australia to LA, the Australian premiere is coming to the LA Fringe before a NY, London, and Paris tour. Opening June 13th at The Elephant Space. Tickets are $10.00

After a highly successful season at Sydney's predominant "Tap Gallery," actors studio life time member, Timothy Davis is coming on board and together with Australian actress Olivia Simone and the LA based acting coach, director and also life time Actors studio Member, Jeneffa Soldatic. They will bring this endearing, satirical comedy by DB Gilles to life, again at the in the Elephant Space -6322 Santa Monica Blvd, for 5 shows only.

An Off-Off-Broadway success which was performed extensively throughout New York City, and subsequently filmed for television, this inventive and skilfully written comedy combines offbeat humour with some probing truths about big city loneliness and the need to fulfil one's creative potential.

Running low on funds having fled to New York from Oak Harbour, Ohio (and her husband), Loretta applies for a position with a one-man advertising firm - only to have owner Leonard greet her with the news that he is going out of business. In fact, he has to scratch to refund the carfare she spent coming to see him.

This chance encounter should be over as soon as it began, but Loretta, who has come to the big city to find her place in life, senses that this man may be just what she was looking for. Despite his resistance, Leonard finds himself drawn deeply into a very funny and progressively revealing conversation that makes both of them face the inescapable truths about love, life, and the need to find your own way, whatever the obstacles.

The Girl Who Loved The Beatles plays a short yet sweet season.

Olivia Simone is the owner of Off The Beaten Track, an Australian production company working with film and theatre, also, bringing acting workshops to Australian schools and remote areas. She studied at the prestigious NIDA, in Sydney, after the likes of Cate Blanchet and Mel Gibson to name a few, has worked with US coach Larry Moss (Leonardo di Caprio, Hillary Swank) Susan Batson (Nicole Kidman) and Elizabeth Kemp (Bradley Cooper). On TV and Film,, Olivia has appeared in Winners and Losers, Dance Academy, All Saints, Hobby Farm and Love My Way. She has worked extensively with Bell Shakespeare and the Australian Shakespeare Company.

Timothy Davis Appearing on Glee, Law and Order, The Speed Creeper, to name a few and touring the US playing Macbeth and Hamlet. As an Actors Studio lifetime member, Tim has worked in prominent theaters all over the country, such as the Berkshire Theatre Festival, Chicago's About Face Theatre, and in numerous off-Broadway productions in New York City at Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Rattlestick Theatre, and the old Circle in the Square, before relocating to Los Angeles. He is one of the founding members of his theatre company Cry Havoc and His production company, Sunday Ruckus, formed in 2012 and is set to produce their first project, Sin Bravely, a feature film Tim wrote. Production is planned for late fall, 2013.

Jeneffa Soldatic is an Australian born actress, acting coach and director who has been working internationally in theatre since 1998. As a life member of The Actors Studio, New York, she loves the exposing truth of the craft of acting and storytelling.
