The Gayest Christmas Pageant Ever!

After several successful runs in New York City, The Gayest Christmas Pageant Ever! is ready to come to the West Coast, headed by accomplished writer/director Paul Storiale and featuring a cast of 20 of L.A.'s strongest comedic theatre actors. The show runs from Dec. 9-30 on select dates at the legendary Avery Schreiber Theatre.

The Gayest Christmas Pageant Ever! opens at the time for the annual holiday production for a struggling gay theatre company. Jim, the pot-smoking straight tech guy offends the eclectic playwright, causing him to walk out and take his script with him. Now the crazy and drama-addicted team has just a few weeks to produce...the gayest Christmas pageant ever! This holiday camp-fest is a fast-paced comedy packed with hilarious dialogue and 40 over-the-top characters...meant for non-conservative adults of all ages!

"This is the funniest play I have ever read in my theatre career," said Storiale, who is working with some of his regular actors on the project. "I couldn't stop laughing, and I'm pretty tough to impress. When I got the chance to direct another West Coast Premiere, I jumped at the chance. It's an incredibly unique production, indeed and so much fun from start to finish."

Storiale has been producing and directing theatre in Los Angeles for several years. In 2007, he directed the West Coast Premiere of Twist. He also created A Big Gay [North] Hollywood Wedding, One Night Stands and brought his play, the critically acclaimed drama The Columbine Project to New York, playing Off Broadway for a three-month run after earning multiple awards in Los Angeles. Recently, Paul created and wrote GossipBoy a series for The Webisoap Channel. More info can be found at paulstoriale.com.
