"...Nostalgia rules in the Group Rep revival of the 2016 production of L.A. Now and Then, which opened last night at the Lonny Chapman main stage. A six-piece musical ensemble under the direction Richard Allen and a cast of fifteen tell a selective story of Los Angeles from the early 20th Century to the present fueled by song and dance. Jeffrey Rockwell serves as an amiable master of ceremonies abetted by Lisa Dyson who, in my mind, is the very heart of the show."
