The latest adaptation of the novel that inspired the visionary film Blade Runner comes to the stage, courtesy of Sacred Fools and complete with edgy elements including simulated gunfire and nudity. Philip K. Dick's seminal 1968 sci-fi noir is set in a post-nuclear dystopia and tracks the adventures of bounty hunter Rick Deckard, who questions his own humanity as he's tasked with hunting down and killing fugitive androids that may be hatching a plan for a robot revolution. Directed by the award-winning Jaime Robledo, this West Coast premiere of playwright Edward Einhorn's work follows its initial 2010 run at the 3LD Art and Technology Center in Manhattan.
