Set in a fictionalized 90s Belfast, the story follows Fiadh and Nicola-two women from opposite sides of a cultural divide-as they struggle toward self-definition, acceptance, and reconciliation. Their personal journeys unfold against a backdrop of political violence and fragile hope, mirroring the social reckonings of today. Beyond the Pale invites audiences to imagine what it means to be fully seen, fully known, and radically accepted in a divided world.
