Always....Patsy Cline Reviews
LA Weekly- Somewhat Recommended
"...But under Robert Marra's direction, neither Kidder nor D'Amico brings much in the way of substance or depth to her character. When not singing, Kidder's Cline - appealingly decked out in A. Jeffrey Schoenberg's period costumes - is pleasant and sweet but hollow. The charisma one would expect is absent."

"...The concentrated dimensions of the Sierra Madre Playhouse serve to highlight the good nature of this charmer, and the must-see Kidder continually captivates."

"...Cori Cable Kidder delivers a star-making performance as country music legend Patsy Cline in Sierra Madre Playhouse's season-opening revival of Ted Swindley's Always " Patsy Cline, easily one of the newly revitalized Playhouse's best productions ever."

"...All in all we've got one heck of a pleasant evening! Director Robert Marra has shaped a well tuned production and Ted Swindley's script never gets maudlin as he keeps the attention where it belongs: on the music! Other tech credits, including John Vertrees' set design, are super!"

"...OMG! What a truly beautiful show it is. The audience is treated to a steady stream of some the best Patsy Cline songs ever produced. There is "Walkin' After Midnight of course, and "I Fall to Pieces" and "Your Cheatin' Heart" and one of my personal favorites "Stupid Cupid" all masterfully performed by the beautiful and richly talented Cori Cable Kidder [Patsy Cline] backed by a live band led by Music Director Sean Paxton."
Broadway World- Recommended
"...Well, the Sierra Madre Playhouse and director Robert Marra have hit the jackpot with its two leading ladies, Nikki D'Amico as Louise and Cori Cable Kidder as Cline. With the overabundant charm exuded by both stars and backed by a superb five-piece combo that includes terrific musical director Sean Paxton at the piano, Always Patsy Cline should take audiences over the rainbow, through September 12."
