All My Sons Reviews
Stage and Cinema- Highly Recommended
"...A successful small-town businessman, a distraught wife, a lovelorn idealistic son, and the ghost of a missing pilot haunt the yard. The themes that moved audiences in the 1940s still touch us today in Antaeus Theatre Company‘s outstanding production of All My Sons, Arthur Miller’s second Broadway play and first major success. Under the direction of Oánh Nguyễn, the production grips and sustains pressure even as the script occasionally leans into melodrama."

"...An absolutely sensational Antaeus Theatre Company cast under the inspired direction of Oanh Nguyen make it abundantly clear why many like this reviewer consider Arthur Miller’s All My Sons (and not his more celebrated and revived Death Of A Salesman) his masterwork."

"...Truth, lies, morality - all are themes that permeate in subtle and then explosive ways in this must-see production of Miller's devastating play. Even in times of war, what are our ethical responsibilities, including when under economic pressure? That's a question we must sadly grapple with even today, when the answers may be as clear, but perhaps as difficult to make."
Stage Raw- Highly Recommended
"...Director Oánh Nguyễn says in his program notes that the Antaeus production leans into the “tension between personal loyalty and moral responsibility.” That tension is felt onstage almost from the beginning of the show to curtain. Nguyễn has clearly given thoughtful attention to the layers of Miller’s Tony-winning masterpiece (his first Broadway hit) as he guides his top-notch cast through the riveting action."

"...A slowly building but very explosive presentation of Arthur Miller's post-World War II play, this production explores the repercussions and adjustments forced on survivors of the war and their families, with unique twists for this particular group of family and friends."
Ticket Holders LA- Highly Recommended
"...Above anything, this enduring classic still has so much to say and Nguyen and the remarkable folks who keep Antaeus such a viable entity in the Los Angeles theatre scene once again could not say it much better."
Larchmont Buzz- Highly Recommended
"...The ensemble of actors, director and artists come together to create an unforgettable night of theater"
Broadway World- Highly Recommended
"...Director Oanh Nguyễn does a fantastic job navigating the story and its emotions with the significant arcs each character has. It's a beautiful balancing act, the flow never flagging even with a 125-minute run time. Miller's script is smart and complicated, but it isn't ever self-important or difficult to engage in. The characters are rich and distinct, and with its themes of idealism, capitalism, and cynicism ringing as true today as they did when the show was first produced, it's still alarmingly now."
