Washer/Dryer

Washer/Dryer

David Henry Hwang Theater
120 Judge John Aiso St. Los Angeles

No good farce is complete without a few misunderstandings -- they're not called "comedies of errors" for nothing -- and Washer/Dryer definitely has a few confused characters. Michael can't figure out why his new wife Sonya won't introduce him to the other people in her building. Sonya doesn't know why the doorman keeps calling her about a package in the lobby. And Michael's mother, well, she has questions of her own. The East West Players have been producing theatrical works about the Asian-American experience since 1965, and Washer/Dryer continues that tradition with twists and spins.
