Viver Brasil at Ford Amphitheatre

The award-winning Viver Brasil Dance Company has played at such prestigious venues as the Hollywood Bowl and Disneyland's California Adventure. Based in Los Angeles but reveling in the African heritage of its sister city, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, this dance troupe's signature characteristics are power, energy and passion. Viver Brasil now celebrates its 20th anniversary with a new show, Agô Ayo: Spirits Rising. The show, at the Ford Theatres in Los Angeles, features two premieres, with new music that reflects the samba, the bloco afro and Afro-Brazilian ancestral wisdom.
