Moon Over Buffalo

Grove Theater Center
1111-b West Olive Ave Burbank

In this fast-paced farce set in Buffalo in 1953, a husband-and-wife acting team with a crumbling marriage try to keep their company together long enough to allow famed director Frank Capra to see their repertory ensemble perform, in hopes he'll cast the duo in his new film. But between a pregnant ingénue, a drunk leading man and a surprise visit from their daughter, things quickly go horribly and comically wrong. Moon Over Buffalo starred Carol Burnett and Philip Bosco on Broadway, running for more than 300 performances, and was written by Tony-nominated writer Ken Ludwig, who also created the hit comedy Lend Me a Tenor.
