Merrily We Roll Along at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts

Broadway giant Stephen Sondheim (Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd, West Side Story) turns his insightful lens inward in this semi-autobiographical show about a brilliant composer who gains fame but loses two close friends along the way. Featuring beloved songs like "Not a Day Goes By," "Good Thing Going," "Old Friends" and "Our Time," this musical fable begins in the present and moves backwards, tracing the showbiz trio's relationship through the decades, as it explores loyalty, compromise and the high price of success. Michael Arden, who won raves for his work on the theater's production of Spring Awakening, brings Merrily We Roll Along to the stage at The Wallis in Beverly Hills.
