From the zany mind of Mel Brooks, a now-classic movie comedy (based on a true classic of 30's horror) makes its way to the stage. Frederick Frankenstein, grandson of monster reanimator Victor, struggles to live down the family reputation, but it isn't to be. Summoned home to the family laboratory, and assisted by Igor, the lovely lab assistant Inga, and Frau Blucher, his grandfather's housekeeper and main squeeze, he is soon caught up in the family business.
