Directed by Victory's own Herb Hall, Two Rooms is set during the time of the 1982-1992 Lebanese Hostage Crisis. The two rooms depicted are a dark cubicle in Beirut, where kidnap victim Michael Wells is being held, and a bare room inside his D.C. home, where his wife Lainie holds a vigil for him. Two Rooms was originally commissioned and produced in 1988 at La Jolla Playhouse. It was named Best Play of the Year by Time magazine. The New York Times labeled it "Provocative and compelling."
