The Second Coming of Klaus Kinski

The Second Coming of Klaus Kinski

Studio C Artists
6448 Santa Monica Blvd Los Angeles

Known as much for his volcanic temper as for his work in film and on stage, the phrase "difficult actor" could well have been coined for Klaus Kinski, the German star most famed for his mercurial, multi-film collaboration with director Werner Herzog (Aguirre, The Wrath of God, Nosferatu). Kinski died in 1991, but writer-performer Andrew Perez (David Miscavige in My Scientology Movie) brings him back to life in this Ovation-recommended show and 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival Encore Award winner to complete Kinski's magnum opus: a one-man show about Jesus Christ, which was driven off stage by outraged theater-goers. The Second Coming of Klaus Kinski comes to Studio C Artists, coinciding with an exhibit featuring relics, curios, film installations, live conversations and more about the actor.
