The producers of the new musical THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, announced that single tickets for THE BOOK OF MORMON in Los Angeles will go on sale exclusively to American Express Cardmembers beginning Wednesday, May 30 at 10:00AM by calling 800-745-3000 or visiting Ticketmaster.com and will remain on sale through 11:59PM on Tuesday, June 5. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Sunday morning, June 10 at 7:00am exclusively at the Pantages Theatre Box Office (6233 Hollywood Boulevard), and five hours later at 12:00 Noon, individual tickets will be made available online at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-982-2787, and at all Ticketmaster outlet locations.

THE BOOK OF MORMON features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. Parker and Stone are the four-time Emmy Award-winning creators of the landmark animated series, "South Park." Tony Award-winner Lopez is co-creator of the long-running hit musical comedy, Avenue Q. The musical is choreographed by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (Monty Python's Spamalot, The Drowsy Chaperone) and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker.

Two-time Tony Award nominee Gavin Creel will star as Elder Price in the First National Tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON. Creel also appeared on Broadway in the revival of Hair, Thoroughly Modern Millie, the 2004 Broadway revival of La Cage Aux Folles, the Goodman Theatre/Kennedy Center production of Bounce, as well as Hair and Mary Poppins on the West End. Most recently he was seen in the title role of the American Repertory Theater production of Prometheus Bound, and has also starred alongside Julie Andrews in the television movies, "Eloise at the Plaza" and "Eloise at Christmastime."
