L.A. Dance Project at Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center

Choreographer and co-star of the blockbuster film Black Swan -- where he met his Oscar-winning wife, Natalie Portman -- Benjamin Millepied's L.A. Dance Project becomes The Wallis' first-ever company-in-residence with this blockbuster fall show at the Bram Goldsmith Theater in Beverly Hills. Hailed by the Los Angeles Times as having "a defining artistic vision for our time," Millepied won raves as a principal dancer with New York City Ballet before co-founding the L.A. Dance Project in 2012. His contemporary troupe will no doubt impress with West Coast or L.A. premieres of three of his new pieces, as well as a U.S. premiere of a work by Noé Soulier.
