Theater That Matters presents Robert Anderson's 1960's play I Never Sang For My Father in a new production at Santa Monica's Miles Playhouse. Directed by Tony Cronin and starring Shayne Anderson, Dana Kelly, Becky Bonar and Mary Carrig, the play focuses on the "Sandwich Generation" — adults facing the challenges of helping aging parents. Set in suburban Westchester County in the mid-1960's, the play follows a family that's members are each at a turning point of their lives. As current today as when it was first presented, director Tony Cronin has used imaginative lighting and sets to transport us to a time and place that speaks to all of us of family and change.
