A new theatrical dance work that explores what love can do to someone. Evocative, dark, and deeply personal, it is an experiment on how love moves and motivates us — for better or worse. fabe is an experimental contemporary dance company that creates movement based on genuine human interactions, past, or in the moment experiences, exhaustion, and movement meditation, led by Artistic Director and founder, Mallory Fabian, and Executive Director, Darby Kelley. Audiences witness dancers push beyond their physical boundaries in non-conventional narrative structures taking a riskier and more organic approach to technical ability. Since their start in 2017, fabe has presented work at REDCAT, Highways Performance Space, The Bootleg Theatre, California Institute of the Arts, Electric Lodge, The Rose Center Theatre, Civic Center Studios, Mimoda, Lula Washington, Brockus Project Studios, and Diavolo. Don't Inhale it, Strictly Mouth. & unknow., two evening length works choreographed by Mallory Fabian, participated in the Terra Nova Choreographic Residency 2017 and 2018 hosted by Rosanna Gamson and Dance Resource Center. fabe is fiscally sponsored by RGWW.
