Endgame at Santa Monica Playhouse

Theatre for a Small Space is producing Nobel Prize winning Samuel Beckett's Endgame this holiday season. Like Huxley's Brave New World or Orwell's 1984, Endgame is a twentieth Century dystopian fable, an absurdist tour de force, an acknowledged Masterpiece of post-World War II literature. Poignant and moving, frightening and funny, Endgame is a provocative portrait of a man facing his final days as the world disintegrates around him. Yet somehow, in the midst of the desolate bleakness, he realizes a higher truth and comes to grips with his failings as a man. Endgame, performed by a seasoned cast of theater professionals, is playing at the Santa Monica Playhouse in Santa Monica.
