The American Dream Reviews
Broadway World- Somewhat Recommended
"...On the night I attended, I noticed many in the audience lost sight of the humor, and it was by no means the fault of the director or her actors. They just got lost in the somewhat overbearing style of Albee's jibberish."

"...Director Alyson York creates a superb foundation; the pacing is light and quick. The cast demonstrates their thespian skills admirably. The play is charming and funny. The only weak link is the script. It seems labored and forced. If this is to be a dark comedy, then so be it. But I think Albee was reaching for something more. Still, it is an interesting time capsule. A slice of life that our elders tasted, but was not as sweet as they hoped."

"...Edward Albee wrote this play prior to "Virginia Woolf". It is satire, and it is funny, and opens our eyes to the absurdity of THE AMERICAN DREAM. Sometimes we feel uneasy, but at the end of the play we agree with Grandma. You will know what I mean when you reserve tickets to this fun and different play."
