Rabbit Hole Reviews
Broadway World- Highly Recommended
"...Not a single weak link in JTK Productions' powerful, pitch-perfect RABBIT HOLE, playwright David Lindsay-Abaire's 2007 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama. The strong cast of five sleekly directed by Eric Hunicutt vividly illustrates Lindsay-Abaire's tale of a family coping with the accidental loss of their little boy Danny. Lindsay-Abaire's arguments for different (opposing?) methods of dealing with grief receive equal weight, keeping you frequently switching allegiance with which character's dealing with their tragedy "correctly.""
Accessibly Live Off-Line- Recommended
"...Although the theme of this piece deals in tragic affairs, RABBIT HOLE isn't a "downer" play per se, but has a story line that speaks for emotional high and low points with the theory that one can rise to the occasion, not matter what that occasion may be."
On Stage and Screen- Recommended
"...The performances are mostly solid, anchored by Oberman. This is primarily Becca's story, and she finds many layers of her persona, adeptly relaying that she is hanging by the thinnest of threads. The play demands something very different of Yurchak, but he also rises to the occasion, showing that while Howie has been able to continue his daily routine more successfully than Becca, he is just as devastated. The entire play takes place in their home, in a set nicely done by Lily Bartenstein, and for much of the show Danny's unoccupied room looms large over the stage, forcing the audience to live with his memory just as the characters do."
