Over the Moon Productions presents Spring Awakening, performed for the first time in an intimate theater in Los Angeles. The original Broadway production won eight Tony Awards including Best Musical. Based on the Expressionist play that caused a scandal in 19th-century Germany, this bold yet poignant musical, with its acclaimed score by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater, follows a group of teenagers as they navigate the confusing and often troubled waters of adolescence and their budding sexuality. Over the Moon's production stars Lindsay Heather Pearce (Glee, The Glee Project) and Janel Parrish (Mona Vanderwaal on the ABC Family series Pretty Little Liars).
