Two women set out to bake an apple pie. As they sift, roll and stir, Mama shares her recipe for life in the hopes that her daughter Dory will restart her own. Intimate, poignant and often hilarious, Pie in the Sky will leave you with a warm heart and maybe even a slice of warm pie ... the actresses will be baking one in real time at Burbank's Little Victory Theatre. The world premiere of Lawrence Thelen's comedy starts with the crust, ends with the ping of a timer and packs a whole lot of emotions and laughs in between.
