Medea at Archway Theatre

Proof that a great revenge tale never gets old, Medea is still shockingly modern as it explores themes that remain vital today. Passion, love and revenge all come into play in classical playwright Euripides' ancient Greek tragedy. The mighty sorceress Medea, who gave up home and family for the love of the hero Jason, plunges into despair when he abandons her for a younger woman. Medea turns all of her dark energies toward wreaking the most horrific and terrible revenge possible against the man she loved more than life itself. There will be blood at this powerful production at the Archway Studio/Theatre in North Hollywood.
