Composed of songs from modern Broadway master Stephen Sondheim's vast catalog, the one-act revue Marry Me a Little takes place in the separate apartments of two lonely people in their 20s who fantasize about romance while living only a floor away from each other. Through bittersweet soliloquies and songs from both famous musicals and un-produced shows, this revue brings to life the characters' hopes, adventurous longings and fears of commitment. The poignant and romantic story includes a slew of songs originally written for such Sondheim gems as Follies, A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum, A Little Night Music and Company. Catch this Good People Theater Company production at Elephant Stages' Lillian Theatre as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival. This show is recommended for ages 10 and older.
