The work of cabaret and Broadway star John Bucchino takes center stage at L.A.'s Chromolume Theater at The Attic with It's Only Life. The celebrated composer's songs have been performed by the likes of Liza Minnelli, Audra MacDonald, Yo-Yo Ma and the Boston Pops. This revue of Bucchino's catalogue touches on the longing, fulfillment, loss, triumph and wisdom mirrored in his work. The production takes a deeper look at the artist and the challenges he faced trying to balance the artistic life with the sweet parts of day-to-day life, family, career and friends.
