Fluid Memories

The Ivy Substation
9070 Venice Blvd Culver City

In honor of Culver City's Centennial Celebration, C. Eule Dance is coming to The Ivy Substation to present a program of choreography that pays tribute to the breezy Westside city affectionately known as "The Heart of Screenland." First, Jazz Tunes of the '20s re-creates the sights, sounds and atmosphere of the city's early days through the music, themes and costumes of the time. Then comes the world premiere performance of the company's featured work, Fluid Memories, which flows through Culver City's past and future to examine the community's struggles with drought and efforts to create a sustainable relationship with its water resources.
