Confessions of a Mormom Boy

Writer-performer Steven Fales is back with his critically-acclaimed Confessions of a Mormon Boy, dissecting his Utah church upbringing and its wild ride of an aftermath, in a show the Los Angeles Times calls "an extraordinary achievement." This powerful and powerfully funny play follows Fales' journey from excommunication, through marriage, kids and divorce, to his life as a high-priced gay New York prostitute. Ultimately, though, he finds a way to reclaim his life and his children. Along with impressing celebrity fans like Judith Light, Leslie Jordan and Bruce Vilanch, Fales received an Outer Critic's Circle Award nomination and was a Lambda Literary Award finalist for the off-Broadway run of the show, which has also been seen across the country and in London's West End.
