Claudio Quest Reviews
Broadway World- Recommended
"...With cute-sy, gaming jargon ("There's never been a problem I couldn't jump on, no!") and a score that is part synth-pop ear candy and part nostalgic computerized MIDI chirps, there's lots to really like about CLAUDIO QUEST The Musical. As it stands, the show could use a few more refinements and some narrative adjustments to make this an even better show. But, thankfully, with its cheeky fun and creative premise, Chance Theater's production is certainly worth putting down the controller for one night to laugh yourself silly."
Stage Scene LA- Highly Recommended
"...Innovative musical theater triple-threats Drew Fornarola and Marshall Pailet pay affectionate, nostalgic tribute to mid-1980s video games in Claudio Quest, a delightfully tuneful Chance Theater West Coast Premiere with particular appeal to Mario Bros. franchise fans."
OC Register- Recommended
"...Director Pailet's staging has the wild look and style of a video game, and the show's quirkily entertaining music, lyrics, script, story and characters fill Chance Theater's stage with color, energy and fun."
Stage Raw- Somewhat Recommended
"...Beating a video game is no simple feat, and neither is writing a musical - especially a new musical about video games. Unfortunately, while the characters in Claudio Quest, now playing at the Chance Theater in Anaheim, are able to save the day, the show itself can't beat the final boss battle: being an unequivocally good piece of theater."
