A classic fairy tale with a modern twist, The Grove Theatre's production of Cinderella revamps a beloved tale with a more forward-thinking theme that celebrates being true to yourself. Romantically challenged philosopher Prince Freddy returns to his home kingdom only to have his no-nonsense father, the King, immediately begin pressuring him to find a bride at the upcoming ball. Luckily, that's where he meets Cinderella, a smart and modern bookworm with animal friends named after philosophers and a penchant for red sneakers. Together they find happiness on their own terms.
