Josh and Brennan are about to get married in Palm Springs on a lovely Saturday afternoon. However, the night before becomes a drunken, drug-fueled scream riot, because their friend Gerry has arrived, furious that their invitation says "please refrain from wearing bright colors or bold patterns". In the struggle for equality, what do we really want? What do we lose? And is there any cocaine left?

"...Droege's gaudy but ultimately sad character is a sad Pierrot clown lost in the effort big time, and, even though the guy will make you laugh until you wish the Celebration Theatre's bathroom wasn't so far away tucked behind the building, the underlying theme of the evening is still compelling, something of a final gasp of a tribute to more carefree days past as the world evolves at lightning speed."

"...Instead, the comedy is invested in his unapologetic self-infatuation, his outrageous acting out, rather than any cleverness in words or ideas. The main idea of the piece seems to be Gerry's preoccupation with the reality that some of his friends are getting married and settling down, while he remains unattached and emotionally at loose ends. It's the old tick-tick-tick of the clock obsession that afflicts most of us at one time or another. Next."
