BalletNow at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion

A pair of American Ballet Theatre superstars, Roberto Bolle and Herman Cornejo have teamed up as guest artistic directors for the premiere of a new contemporary show, BalletNow. They'll lead three separate programs, each spotlighting top dancers from Europe and Latin America. Deemed "utterly gorgeous (in both looks and dance)" by The New York Times, Italy's Roberto Bolle was only 20 when he was promoted to principal dancer at that country's famed La Scala. Since then, he's performed across Europe and joined the ABT in 2009. Cornejo joined the ABT in 1999, after studying ballet in his home country of Argentina. He's won many of the dance world's most prestigious awards and has appeared as a guest artist with a variety of American and Latin American companies.
